Sorry about the wait. I know how it feels to have to wait forever for a website to update. This picture is of Dante's Divine Comedy, if you catch my drift.

Speaking of websites, I just wanted to let everyone know how much I truly despise facebook. I never get any posts or emails, and when I do, it's like "You've been invited" to something stupid. But, I guess I'll survive. Don't worry, I'm not talking about any of you, don't get all worried.

I thought this painting was pretty. I was actually looking for "Twilight" like the books, but this will do. Anyway, I found out that my sisters are planning on having a twilight party without me. Excuse me for wondering, but I thought that was ix-nayed when the movie release date was moved. Fine, I'll have a party by myself. With myself.

Speaking of movies, I went to Kammie's house the other day and watched the Hulk. It was just as good as the first time. I've decided to call the hulk the "Green Eyed Man." Get it? Like that one song, except not. I'm so clever.

Two nights ago, I woke up when I heard a clatter... well I don't think you would call it a clatter, it was more like Velcro coming undone, and a thump of a bunch of socks, because that's exactly what it was. My sock holder thing that was in my closet was so chuck full of socks, that it finally came down. I wonder why things like that always happen when you're asleep. Anyway, I decided I needed to get rid of some of my socks. There was just one problem, and those who know me would understand, I have a hard time letting go of things. In fact, I remember where most of the socks came from. Anyway, I decided that I needed to look on the Internet for some good ideas to make sock crafts. It could be fun. I don't know how I'll feel about cutting up socks or gluing stuff to them though. The truth is that I probably won't use them for anything anyway. Oh well.

The other night I went to a Priest and Laurel activity. I'll be the first to admit that I am no longer a laurel. OK, that doesn't make sense. The point is, that I wasn't actually supposed to be there, I just went to set up. But then there were only like 10 kids who showed up, and I knew all of them really well, plus the fact that when I tried to leave, they all started crying. Ha ha, just kidding, about the crying anyway. But I stayed and it was fun. It was Harry Potter themed, so needless to say, the team I was on crushed everyone else in the trivia competition. Me and these two other kids on my team had all read the books... a lot. Anyway, I don't know if it was fair that we were on the same team, but it was fun. I felt like a huge dork though, because I actually did know a lot of the answers. Like "What was the first password they used in the first book to get into the common room?" Do you know?

All my Halloween dreams have been crushed. I REALLY wanted to do something for Halloween because I wanted to be a cowgirl, but there's nothing to do. So I told mom we should go to Provo, but she has meetings on Friday. We'd never make it in time.

I got to spend $500 on candy the other day. But look at this picture. Are they trying to poison kids or something? There are three mismatched pieces of candy in this picture. Can you find them? It shouldn't be that hard because I circled them, so your time's up. Anyway, they don't belong.

I have to return two books to the library today. I don't like checking them out though anymore. I have a fine. Over a dollar. I can't believe it. Do they track you down if you leave the state?

The other day while picking out some pumpkins at the grocery store. Actually it was after I picked them out and payed for them, I saw a big suburban that said "Was Me Please", written in the dust. First I thought "real original" then I realized there was no h on the end of was. So I came to the conclusion that they were trying to say "Waste me please", referencing the fact that they no longer liked their car, and wanted someone to ram into it, in turn getting insurance money, and putting toward a new car. They couldn't actually write "waste" because if they did, the insurance company would see and charge the owner of the parked car for the accident. I found out their secret though. It's a good thing for them that I'm not a cop.
As promised... or not, I went to see High School Musical 3 in theaters on the opening day. I know, some may thinks it's cheesy, but I don't care. I thought it was the best thing since... High School Musical 1! And no, I'm not being sarcastic, I really did love both of them. Actually all of them. In fact, I bought the soundtrack on the way home from the movie. I would have gotten it earlier, but I have this thing, where i don't want to get it until I see the movie, so nothing gives away anything. I have all the soundtracks now, plus it gave me a free ringtone. I know, right? I must admit, this 3rd movie was the best. Talk about every girls dream.

And while I'm on the subject of Zac Efron, I just wanted to post this website:

Talk about funny. And just to let you know, I was super excited to see this movie BEFORE this hilarious trailer. I saw a "making of" a long time ago and was excited, now I'm even more so. Go watch this. You won't be disappointed.

"I'm a princess, and princesses don't get sick."

I'm sick. I don't like being sick. It's... unpleasant. So anyway, I didn't go to work today. I'm way too awake though. I slept in until 10, then took a 3 hour nap this afternoon, so I decided that I'd catch up on my blogging.

I got a coupon the other day for bath and body works stuff. So I went in and realized the coupon wasn't good until the next day. I bought some anyway. They were on sale... and I'm weak. I got moonlight path for mom because she lost hers, then wild honeysuckle for me. Mom then told me she had found hers earlier in the week and felt guilty taking it, so she gave it to me. She's so nice. I am pretty devastated though because I found out that you can't buy two of my favorite fragrances even online. Puh huh. There are a bunch of others though, plus when I bought the two the other day they gave me ANOTHER coupon. I LOVE coupons. He he he.

Speaking of work, the other day I was on hold with Qwest... again, and they have this recording that goes something like this: "We know your time is valuable and we thank you for holding. A representative will be with you as quickly as possible." What I don't think they realize is that something like that just makes me angry. What it sounds like to me is: "We know we're wasting your time, but we're not going to go any faster, just to make you angry."

Then, I was on the phone with HP later... again. After spending over an hour with them earlier figuring out the fax machine, and them putting in an order for a "print head", it started working fine. So I called again, with the order number in hand to cancel the order. It took 20 minutes. And then, guess what came in the mail the other day. AN UN-NEEDED PRINT HEAD. Twenty minutes of my life...

We were watching "Designed to Sell" tonight. One of my least favorite shows, p.s., and at the end they show you how they spent the money. So, the host asked the designer to "break it down". Well, you may not think this was funny, but I instantly thought of the designer starting to break dance. I started laughing.

I was thinking of the logo for State Farm the other day. "Like a good neighbor, state farm is there." I thought, for me at least, a good neighbor would leave me alone. Then I thought of people like Amy and Kathy, and thought again.

Oh my good gravy. 14 days left. I am so excited, though it's split with Twilight (tee hee hee) which is coming out next month. But I must say, Zac Efron is super cool. And really good looking. I hate to say cute, or hot. I don't know why. It's like when you say cute, it's a kid, or when you say hot it reminds me of saying "Hhhhhot." If that's makes sense.

I have been reading a lot lately. And I especially like this author named Shannon Hale. I've read four of her books and am starting a fifth. I am kind of sad though, because this is the last novel, besides children's novels of hers I haven't read yet. Anyway, I went on her website and found out that she's Mormon. I was so excited that I ran and told mom. Anyway, I am now asking my 3-4 readers a favor. If you have any suggestions for books, I'd much appreciate it. I am running out of new books to read.

I'm a dork... I know.

This morning I had to wake up at 6:15. I haven't woken up that early since... well it's been a long time. I had to go to work. Then I got sick. I blame it on the early morning. So, I have decided, for the good of my health, not to wake up early ever again.

I just finished reading the third fablehaven book. It was definately a good one. I read the second one, which ended with the person that was going to save the day being suspected of treason. Oh dear. I have to say though, I was on the edge of my seat, wondering how Kendra and Seth were going to save Fablehaven this time. Geesh, that was a close one.
As I was saying earlier, I had to get up hecka early. The up-side is that my boss and co-worker lady took me out to breakfast. In fact they took me out to dinner last night, breakfast this morning, and lunch today. Yikes-a. It was good. I got a small omelette this morning, which was wierd because I usually don't like eggs, then I got a sandwich for lunch. After last night I was more careful when choosing. And I'll tell you why:
Last night I got a fagita at the mexican restaurant. Apparantly I ordered a "fajita burrito". You have to say it really fast with a mexican accent. It sounds cool. Anyway, though it was delicious, it was ENORMOUS. I am telling you, it was huge. Imagine an enchilada, the kind my mom makes are really good, so imagine those ones, and times that by 4. Then there was the rice and beans. It's a good thing I didn't have chips beforehand, but I still only ate half of it. It was embarrasing because even my boss, who is a man, got something that was the same size or smaller. Then the other lady we were with got something much smaller. So, they called it a burrito when they brought it over. In my head I was thinking "Oh please don't let that be mine." And then of course it was.
Our waiter at the restaurant looked really familiar. Then I realized he looks exactly like Michael Welch, a rising star, who will be playing Mike Newton in the heavily anticipated upcoming film "Twilight" (See later in post). The only difference was that he was Mexican. Observe-
Earlier I was thinking, "I want a kimono". Then I saw this picture and thougth "Maybe not." Though it's beautiful, I really don't think that many people could pull it off. I am no exception.

I know I'm a geek, but I watched the new Twilight trailer and all I can say is "tee hee hee". I am so psyched. He he. I haven't been this excited since Harry Potter, which just makes me look like even more or a dork. Well if you don't like it... then uh... too bad. EAT THAT!
